Vagabond Visions

 My intention is to develop an encore career writing articles and blog posts for interested businesses and media outlets.  I have been very blessed in the breadth and depth of my experiences. I have been doubly blessed to follow my dreams and inclinations and enjoyed a good quality of life along the way. Beginning with the United States Marine Corps at the end of the Vietnam War, to several decades in the automotive repair business and then a transition to the world of scuba diving, scuba travel and underwater video production I’ve been excited by new opportunities. In 2010 after graduating from film school I became a cancer widower and entered the world of non-profit advocacy and fundraising. 

My hope is to share my love of motorcycles on the open road and my growing knowledge of integrative cancer care with a new and excited audience.    I am in search of opportunities as a freelance writer.

  Early in life I enjoyed horses and fixing things. Nothing was quite as exciting as fixing something broken or the joy of figuring out how something worked. Later I joined the United States Marines Corps and in addition to joys of cutting edge electronics I learned the joys and exhilaration of hotrods, motorcycles and speed.

From the mid-seventies on I was in my comfort zone when surrounded by bikers, military men and women and entrepreneurs. The first decade of the 21st century saw me become part of a club I never wanted; surviving spouse of someone taken by cancer. 

2011 began my journey as a cancer patient-survivor advocate.

I am in search of opportunities as a freelance writer.
